Printing classroom decor adds up fast—between all the posters, student labels, and colorful resources, it’s easy to burn through paper and ink quicker than expected.
But don’t let the thought of printing at home hold you back from using that decor bundle you’ve been eyeing!
One of my favorite budget-friendly tricks? HP Instant Ink—a super affordable way to print everything you need right from home, without the stress (or surprise ink costs). 💛

What is HP Instant Ink?
HP created a subscription program to give you a way to save on the price of ink!
It only costs me $8.00 for 100 pages per month!
Annnnd it doesn’t matter how much color ink you use on each page. It can be completely filled with ink 🙌
Who Can Use HP Instant Ink?
If you have an HP printer that has a wifi connection, you’re probably good to go!
You can check the compatibility of your HP printer with Instant Ink here.

If you don’t have an HP printer, that’s almost even better because there are so many options on Amazon and Walmart that include 3 months of FREE ink!
There are super affordable printers, within a $50 – $70 range, that come with the 3 months of free ink option! That price point quickly pays for itself in the free ink. 😉
How Does it Work?
The cool thing about HP Instant ink is that everything is based on the number of pages you will print a month.
For example, I pay $8.00 for 100 pages per month. And it doesn’t matter if I print in color or black & white. 🤯

First, this makes it a SUPER solution to printing classroom decor because you know how many pages you will need to print in a month.
Another perk is that you can cancel your subscription when you’re done printing out your decor (or hold onto it so you don’t have to rely on your school printer).
When your printer detects that your ink is low, it will submit an order for ink on your behalf.
So you don’t have to run out of ink in the middle of a project again! 🤩
Ohhh and…the best part? Any pages you don’t use roll over to the next month!
