Where to Use Nametags in Your Classroom
Although these free printable nametags sound like only a nametag, you can really use them in your room for so much more 🙌

1. As Nametags
Adding a nametag to each student’s desk is a great way to foster relationship-building in your classroom.
It will help you and your students get to know each others’ names faster.
Nametags on desks make it much easier for a substitute or guest teacher to walk into your room.
2. On Cubbies
Stick nametags on your cubbies with their your students’ names or their number.
This is an easy way to keep those cubbies organized and remember whose stuff goes where. ❤️
3. Supply Tubs
Treat these nametags as a label!
Use this same resource to create custom labels so your classroom stays organized and those pesky markers stay out of the colored pencils bin! 😂
4. Pencil Boxes
Keep track of all of the pencil boxes floating around your classroom by adding a nametag on them.
You could even print these nametags smaller to make them easier to attach to smaller objects.
5. Student Mailboxes
Use these nametags to help students (and yourself) identify which mailbox goes with each student.
Then, it would be super easy to hand the job of filling mailboxes over to one of your students!
6. Magazine Organizers
If you use magazine organizers, book bins, or any other type of large item that could get mixed up between your students or the types of magazines or books they hold, create a label!
7. Editable Labels
The beauty of this resource is, it can really be used to help you label ANYTHING and everything in your classroom.
Editing the Nametags
Editing the nametags for your students (or box of supplies) is simple! 👍
All you need to do is make sure you have PowerPoint installed on your computer.
Then, you will open up the PowerPoint file, and add your student’s names (or desired label) onto the nametag design of your choice. 😊
I have embedded the font you see on these nametags into the file, so you can keep the cute look! 😍
If the font isn’t showing up once you have downloaded it, follow the steps here to fix it!
If you don’t have PowerPoint, there is a blank PDF version included, so you can always print the design option you choose & write your student’s names on by hand!
No matter how you choose to use these, if you’re creating a Western classroom theme, you definitely want to add them to your classroom!
The best part? They’re free! 🎉
