☀️ Welcome to Class!
Your classroom decor and vibes don’t have to wait at the door of your classroom.
Fill the hallway and space right outside your classroom with little reminders of how excited you are to see them.

Post your morning greeting options outside your door to make it easy for your students to remember.
Kristin created this “Hello” sign with an editable label from the Hello Pastel decor bundle.
♥️ Creating a Cozy Pre-K Classroom Space
As you start decorating and setting up your Pre-K classroom, think about how you can use displays to decorate and promote community.

Use the editable banners and bulletin board letters like Kristin did to create a space for students to share pictures of their families. Or, highlight the new family being made in your room by creating a display of each student in your classroom.
The front of your classroom has so many possibilities for ways to teach, remind, and encourage your students.

Adding visuals to your daily schedule cards for little learners who can’t read is pure genius.
Kristin went around her own Pre-K classroom and took pictures of what it looks like in their space so students know exactly what is coming next, without having to read at all.
The editable labels can be used for SO many things. Use them to create custom headings for things on your whiteboard, like “Our Schedule”, “Our Focus”, rewards, and SO much more.

Alphabet posters running along the top of the whiteboard make them easy to reference for your students all day long.
Kristin chose the primary version with ASL signs.
Look for ways to turn your rectangular classroom into a special place with cozy nooks for your students.

These paper lanterns, editable banner, pillows & stuffed animals make for the perfect little nook to snuggle up with a good book.
Don’t forget to create a space for you as well!

Use an editable banner to string your name across a bulletin board filled with your pictures, where you went to school, or things you love.
Plus, stash your labeled rolling cart & teacher tool box back here so you always know where your supplies are.
The Hello Pastel classroom decor is FILLED with pre-made resources and editable labels, banners, and more to create a cozy classroom.
🩷 Hello Pastel Displays
If you are staring at the displays included in a classroom decor bundle, wondering where to put them, you’re in the right spot!
Here are some incredible ideas and changes you can make to these pre-made, ready-to-print displays from the Hello Pastel classroom decor bundle.

Hanging a birthday display always gives your students something to talk about!
They start to notice who has birthdays when, and get SO excited as their classmates’ birthdays approach. 🥹
But if you don’t absolutely love the pieces that come with the pre-made birthday display, you can always alter an editable label (like Kristin did) to create your own month cards.

Shapes are a HUGE part of the Pre-K and primary grade curriculum. And they can take up a lot of space on your wall.
Follow Kristin’s example to print them 2 or 4 to a page to shrink them down without losing their value.

Hang a Wow Work display around the top of your classroom to highlight student work.
Your students will be SO excited to see their own hard work displayed. 🤩

Creating a classroom jobs display is another great way to keep your classroom running smoothly.
The solid colored design is a great way to keep things simple and less complicated for your littlest learners.

Bulletin board letters don’t need to be confined to only bulletin boards! Use them to create your own sayings and hang them around your classroom!
Kristin created a fun “Read” wall with images of characters from books her students will encounter throughout the year.
What a fun way to encourage excitement and build anticipation around the books they will read together throughout the year.
An empty classroom is a blank canvas full of possibilities. ☺️
Let your imagination run wild in how you want to design and decorate your Pre-K classroom (or any other age classroom) to create the perfect space for you and your students. ❤️
