☀️ Inside A Colorful 3rd Grade Classroom
Welcome to Logan’s 3rd grade classroom decked out in Happy Hues classroom decor!

She’s paired the bright colors from the classroom decor with colorful strips of fabric to bring some extra fun to the corner of her classroom.
You can see some different tables and seating options Logan has opted for in her 3rd grade classroom setup.
Students can sit on the floor at the front tables, or use chairs at the back tables.
With this flexible seating arrangement, Logan found some great organizational ideas to keep her 3rd grade classroom setup flowing smoothly.
Keeping a 3rd Grade Classroom Running Smoothly
Logan used so many of the editable pieces of the Happy Hues classroom decor bundle to keep her classroom organized.

Since she isn’t using student desks, Logan used the editable labels to create book bin and cubby numbers.
This way, her students know exactly where to keep their supplies, and things are easily accessible during the day.

Logan also made sure her 3rd grade classroom was ready to keep papers organized for her.
Between the labeled rolling cart and labeled paper tray, everyone knows exactly where each piece of paper should be filed.
Joy Tucked Into Every Detail
Logan has sprinkled the Happy Hues classroom decor bundle throughout her space. This seamlessly fills her 3rd grade classroom with bright, cheerful energy.

Logan uses every inch of her space well.
She placed her skip-couting numbers above a whiteboard.
The bright calendar is clearly posted right next to her front whiteboard.
And the side of a metal bookcase is her classroom jobs display!
She’s filling her room with cheerful decor, and helpful resources. This creates a space where her students will thrive every time they enter her doors.
☀️Bring the excitement of summer into your classroom with the Happy Hues bundle.
A Cozy & Inviting 3rd Grade Classroom Setup
Step into the whimsical 3rd grade classroom created by Chelsea using the Modern Calm Colors bundle.

Pastel paper lanterns hand from the ceiling of this whimsical 3rd grade classroom.
Partnered with the soft, calming aestheic of the Modern Calm Colors decor bundle, create a cozy, inviting room.

Chelsea has spread bits and pieces of her decor bundle all through her 3rd grade classroom setup.
The adorable classroom decor and twinkle lights around the edges of her room create an inviting space to learn and play.
This classroom has truly transformed into a place where you can feel at home.
Cozy Reading Nook
One of my favorite parts of Chelsea’s classroom is her cozy reading nook.

Her reading corner is nothing fancy; it’s just a small corner in her classroom. But the bookshelves, beanbag chairs, and lots of fluffy pillows make it the perfect place to get lost in a book.
It’s easy for librarys to get out of hand. Chelsea fixed this probelm with editable labels from the Modern Calm Colors decor bundle. Students know exactly where to return their books when they’re finished.
She chose to set up her library using genres and highlighting a few popular book series.
Decor That Supports Your Students
More than simply making her classroom look amazing, Chelsea’s classroom decor also supports her students’ learning and growth.

She placed skip-counting posters going down one part of her wall, right by a math bulletin board. This places all of the support her students might need around math in one area.
Don’t let cinderblock walls discourage you from putting stuff up on your walls. This simple hack will literally change your life.
On top of the table filled with extra materials, is a growth mindset display. Her students are always reminded they can do hard things.
Finally, Chelsea has placed some inspirational posters in gold frames. This perfectly ties in the colors of the Modern Calm Colors decor theme and helps the posters feel even more special.
A Special Teacher’s Corner
As you begin to plan your 3rd grade classroom setup, don’t forget about your teacher’s desk space!

Chelsea made this a special place in her classroom for not only her, but her small groups as well.
She has plenty of drawers and bins helping her keep her materials organized. The customized labels keeps everything clear and neat.
Every classroom setup choice Chelsea has made was made to purposefully support her students’ learning each and every day.

Turning a 3rd Grade Classroom Into a Home Away From Home
Our final 3rd grade classroom setup is from Paxton.
She has used the Pastel Retro classroom decor bundle to create a true home away from home for her students.

She brought in an entry table, a mirror, and an adorable lamp to make the entrance of her classroom feel like entering a home.
Paxton filled her space with chairs, rugs, pillows, and other fun seating options. All of these homey touches make her space warm and inviting. As if you’re pulling up a chair in someone’s living room.
All of her wooden accents pair perfectly with the pastel retro classroom decor vibes. And did you see the adorable, retro smiley face rug?! Perfection.
Building Community Through Classroom Design
Paxton has created spaces in her classroom to help her group of students grow into a family of learners.

Her birthday wall display gives students an easy way to make connections with their classmates and build anticipation for the approaching birthdays.
The affirmation mirror station is a great place for students to individually remind themselves of who they are and what type of class they are a part of.
Clever 3rd Grade Classroom Organization Ideas
Paxton’s room is a bit different and adds some interesting organizational challenges.
She has backpack cubbies inside her classroom.

So, to help her students know exactly which cubby is theirs, Paxton used the editable labels included in the Pastel Retro classroom decor bundle to create numbers.
Then, students are able to find their numbered cubby and use it throughout the whole year.
A 3rd Grade Classroom Setup Built for Learning
Every area of Paxton’s room supports her students as they learn, work, and play.

She uses this side whiteboard to highlight the topics and concepts she’s currently teaching.
Along the top of the whiteboard are skip-counting numbers so students can easily access them as they work on multiplication.
She has a classroom reward that the class is working towards earning with their behavior.
Finally, along their cubbies, there is a place for Paxton to hang up the amazing work they do each and every day.
Paxton has transformed her 3rd grade classroom into a home away from home that both she and her students can enjoy every day.
✌️Create your space with pastel retro vibes for a calm, groovy classroom.
Regardless of how you set up your 3rd grade classroom, you’re excited about creating a space your students love to be, which means it will be a wonderful place to be. ❤️
Students ultimately are hoping their 3rd grade teacher is excited, encouraging, and a fun person to be around. 🥰
