I’ve organized these 30 items into some broader categories to help the list not feel quite as overwhelming and so you can jump to the sections you need!

Top Picks for All Things Whiteboard 📌
Here are some things to add to your Amazon teacher wishlist that will help you use the space well, spruce it up (if you want to), and get creative with storage! 🤩
1. Expo Markers
Expo markers are the BEST brand of dry-erase marker that exists.
Trust me, if you go with an off-brand, you will find yourself buying more ALL the time because the ink will run dry or the color won’t be as bold as you want.
2. Magnetic Dry-Erase Holders
Some whiteboards won’t have that metal strip to store markers on.
And sometimes, it’s just nicer to have a holder like this to keep all your markers and erasers together and a little more organized! 🙌
3. Magnetic Spice Racks
I know magnetic spice racks sound like they belong in the kitchen, but check out how cute this setup is! 😯
@Craftingintheclassroom used the magnetic spice racks to display read-aloud books at the front of the classroom for all of the students to see!
4. Magnetic Curtain Rod
A magnetic curtain rod might sound weird too, BUT it is a GREAT way to display a flip calendar and be able to flip through the dates!
If you want to learn more about what flip calendars are and how easy they are to set up, check out this blog post!
5. Black & White Polka Dot Border
While this cute border isn’t just for the whiteboard, sometimes putting some border around the whiteboard is an easy way to spruce up the front of your classroom. 😍
When putting it around my whiteboard, I use magnetic tape to keep the setup and take-down process nice and easy.
You can also put this border around other bulletin boards, or just use it to create a frame on a wall and make your own “bulletin board” for another display.
6. Small Whiteboards with Erasers
Pass these out to your students for a quick check to see how your students are doing at learning a concept, or make math practice more fun by digging them out!
Trust me, pulling out the whiteboards is always a cause for celebration.
7. Dry Erase Easel
Wanting to teach a concept in a specific area of your classroom? This easel is a great thing to use during small groups, or for students to have a larger space to brainstorm ideas or practice their learning!
Top Picks for Hanging Things Around Your Classroom 🔨

✨This stuff is magic. ✨

One side is sticky and the other side is magnetic! It is super easy to use, has a strong hold, and lasts for quite some time. 😊
9. Velcro Dots
Velcro dots are probably my favorite way to create a display with pieces I want to be able to change easily.
Things like job displays, weather cards, and even an entire calendar set if I don’t have a pocket chart!
You’ll always find another way you can use these Velcro dots in your classroom!
10. Command Strips or Hooks
Command strips are a great option for things like hanging posters or bathroom passes or other odds and ends around the classroom.
11. Calendar Pocket Chart
If you are looking for an easy way to display your calendar, I would suggest using this calendar chart.

29. Dry-Erase Pockets
Use dry erase pockets as an easy way for students to practice things in small groups without needing to make a bajillion copies.
Place important papers in them to keep them safe, but make them accessible to your students. Schedules, class lists, QR codes for students to scan, really anything!
30. Carpet Spots
Carpet spots are a must-have if you like to help your elementary students be a little more organized.
For example, these spots can help students know where
➡️ Carpet time spots are if you don’t have a rug
➡️ To stand when they need to line up
➡️ Desk legs should be
➡️ To stand to help them spread out and create space in the classroom
They simply attach themselves to the carpet, so they won’t slide around.
