Are you looking for ways to set up your classroom with the Happy Hues Classroom theme?
It can be intimidating starting from a blank slate, so I wanted to share some ideas on how other teachers have used this decor in their classrooms! ☀️🌈

Decorating Type #1: The All-Ins
This teacher, @_touchofteaching’s classroom, has infused her classroom with ALL the Happy Hues things. And, it really does feel like you can taste summer in her classroom. ☀️

Her yellow wall is the PERFECT pairing for this bundle with all of the bright, happy, summer colors!
If you look closely, you can see great ideas for how to set up all of these different parts of the decor bundle:
🌟 Primary alphabet on display above the whiteboard
🌟 Visual schedule cards showing the day’s order of events
🌟 Skip counting posters under the whiteboard for easy reference
🌟 Birthday display hung up on the wall above the bookshelf
(a great way to create a display without needing an additional bulletin board!)
🌟 SO many more elements from the Happy Hues bundle are included in her classroom as well.
Another classroom that has been completely transformed using this bundle is @mrsdillons.class.
Using all of the pieces from the same decor bundle helps everything feel natural and in place in the classroom.
I love how this teacher has added additional rainbow-style elements to her classroom. The bright colors from the Happy Hues bundle make bringing in other bright, colorful things you love easy!
Even from a distance, the alphabet chart, rules posters, and hand signal posters are evident, noticeable, and colorful!

The alphabet posters, combined with the hand signal posters right below create a beautiful burst of color along the top of her classroom that blends perfectly.
You can also glimpse a flip calendar, 10 drawer cart, and teacher toolbox all using happy hues labels.
On the other side of her classroom, she has more labels for other classroom supplies, shape posters, and a number line running along the top of her room.
Every part of her room is filled with resources for her students, and it all works together SO nicely because it is all the same decor bundle.
If you are wanting your classroom decor to help you create a classroom where:
➡️ Everything goes together perfectly (no worrying about colors blending well)
➡️ You have everything you could possibly need for your classroom
➡️ Pops of color stand out without being too overwhelming in your classroom
Then, use these classrooms to spark your creativity for where the alphabet posters, calendar, schedule cards, and more will go in your classroom! 🎉
See more about the different pieces included in the Happy Hues bundle in this blog post.
Decorating Type #2: The Highlighters
Now, maybe you are loving the pops of color this bundle provides, but you aren’t sure you are ready to go all-in.
The next decorating type might be the answer to how to bring this decor bundle to life in your own classroom.
These teachers bring in several elements from decor bundles but don’t do an entire classroom transformation.
Classroom Decor Inspiration: Window Displays 🪟
For example, this 3rd-grade teacher, Katy Johnson, used the pieces from my Happy Hues Math bundle to create a fun window resource display for her students!
The Happy Hues bundle sometimes feels like a rainbow classroom decor bundle 😍.
If you are looking for some easy ways to add even more pops of color, or want to use less colored ink, print some of the resources out on Astro Brights paper.
(I actually designed this decor bundle with those colors in mind, so they will blend perfectly!)
I love the creativity this teacher used to think outside the box when it comes to wall space! If you are discouraged by a lack of wall space, use this as inspiration for finding a different way to create a display.
Classroom Decor Inspiration: A Colorful Whiteboard 🎨
For another example of how to transform your classroom using these decor items, look at this picture from @alyssainelementary_.
Alyssa used the Happy Hues collection to set up her objectives (with the editable labels), flip calendar, and schedule cards on her whiteboard!
Classroom Decor Inspiration: Brightening Things Up 💡
Before we get to the next highlighter classroom, this is a great example for you if you are looking for classroom decor ideas for a classroom with:
➡️ White cinderblocks as the walls
➡️ No outdoor windows or natural light
➡️ Florescent lighting
Now, take a look at how this teacher, @mrs._campbells_corner, has used bits and pieces of the Happy Hues bundle to bring excitement and color into her classroom.
You would never guess this classroom is windowless and has white cinder block walls. 😍
Bringing these classroom decor ideas to life in your classroom, even if you just use the number posters, alphabet posters, and birthday display, has the power to dramatically change the look and feel of your classroom!
Decorating Type #3: The Pops of Color
Maybe all of those other options still don’t match your vision of the perfect classroom.
Maybe all you are looking for is a way to sprinkle in some of this rainbow classroom decor using only your favorite items.
For example, check out these Happy Hues teacher toolbox labels in @education.elation classroom.
Even though it is only one pop of color, the brightness in this classroom theme has an impact on the entire classroom.
Tidying up your teacher’s desk will no longer leave you feeling discouraged or overwhelmed. Instead, these cheerful labels will bring a smile to your lips, even in the middle of winter. 😊
If you are wanting to start dipping your toes into decorating your classroom with a bundle, start with one or two pops of color and see the transformation for yourself.
