How to Use the Letters in Your Classroom

Follow these five steps to get from staring at your computer to a beautiful heading for your displays!

1️⃣ Choose Your Saying

Figure out what you want your heading or phrase to be!

Once you’ve nailed that down, figure out how large you want your finished heading to be. Then, arrange the printable bulletin board letters so you are only printing the ones you need!

There is an entire video included in this file showing you exactly how to do this!

For reference, I printed 2 letters per page for the “Writing” heading above.

2️⃣ Print the Letters

Send the pages you need from the file to the printer!

3️⃣ Cut Out the Letters

Next, throw your favorite TV show on, grab a blanket and cozy drink, and settle in to cut out your letters!

This image shows a bunch of upper-case printable bulletin board letters that have been cut out. You can see a pair of scissors sitting on top of the letters.

Use this tip to cut out the middles of your letters or numbers WITHOUT crinkling everything else 😂

4️⃣ Laminate the Letters

If you want your heading to hang around for a while, it might be worth laminating.

Also, if you think you might use this heading again next year, laminate it and save it once you take your display down! That will save you lots of time in the future!

Then cut your letters out again.

5️⃣ Hang Your Letters

The final piece is actually hanging up the printable bulletin board letters!

This image shows a bulletin board with the heading "Writing" across the top of it. The bulletin board has a white and black border surrounding it and a piece of decor that says "Dream" across the top.

This will bring your bulletin board (or classroom wall) to life!

Save yourself some time with these bulletin board hacks. Having to set up a bulletin board twice (even if it’s just the heading) is never fun. 🫠
