Modern Calm Classroom Decor Inspiration

I LOVE seeing how other teachers have used the Modern Calm Colors decor bundle to create calm, welcoming classrooms for their students.

I wanted to share that inspiration with you in case you are planning on using this theme!

This image shows a calm colors classroom theme with the text- calm colors classroom decor inspiration: swoon-worthy classrooms!"

Check out these amazing decor classroom ideas from teachers who have used the modern calm colors classroom bundle to decorate their home away from home.

A Cozy, Modern Calm Colors Classroom

Ahhh, this first classroom is truly swoon-worthy. 😍

I love how first grade teacher @colbyshae_ has incorporated the colors within this bundle into so many parts of her classroom.

You by no means need to color-coordinate all parts of your classroom to match your theme.

*Note: The filter on these pictures has changed the coloring a bit.

Calm Classroom Decor Alphabet Displays

Is your classroom really a primary classroom without an alphabet display running along the top? 😉

The Modern Calm Colors decor bundle is filled with seven different options to choose from!

These teachers have selected three different alphabet displays for their classrooms. The primary with pictures, cursive, and ASL alphabet posters are all options included in the bundle!

Calm Colors Skip Counting Posters

Skip counting posters can be displayed in so many different ways!

The key is to keep them in a spot where students are able to reference them often and easily.

Dani from @the.teachers.style, created a bulletin board focused on displaying the numbers.

Another teacher, Rachel from @lifewithlittlelearners, combined the skip counting numbers with other math posters (those math posters are not included in the modern calm colors bundle). I do have other math posters included 🙂

Are your students struggling with skip counting or multiplication? Check out these fun ways to practice in this blog post!

Other Calm Colors Math Posters

I love how Sarah (@_bigheartslittleminds_) set up a math wall with some of the math posters included in the bundle! Also, her shirt 😍🥰

The image on the right is from @craftingintheclassroom! The skip counting posters, multiplication chart and 100 chart are also included in the calm colors bundle!

Calm Colors Organization Items

Clean, colorful labels can provide SO MUCH to a classroom.

Check out how these teachers have used the labels included in the Modern Calm Colors Classroom decor bundle to organize their space.

These teachers have used two different 10-cart label styles included with the bundle. Choose the style that suits your personality!

Larger drawer labels are also included like @craftingintheclassroom pic below!

Another key feature in my classroom decor bundle is creating editable labels, so you can change the wording to fit what works with your classroom.

Organizational tools, when used correctly, are like eye candy.

These teachers have outdone themselves by putting systems in place that keep their learning space clean, functional, and beautiful to look at. 😍

Calm Colors Classroom Calendar

A good calendar display is key when looking at decor classroom ideas.

I love how these teachers have created calendar displays that are personalized for their particular classrooms!

This calendar display works great in a pocket chart.

Don’t have a pocket chart? No worries!

You can easily create the calendar display using magnetic tape on a magnetic whiteboard or velcro dots on a bulletin board. 😊

This image shows a calm colors flip calendar on a whiteboard.

This flip calendar is set up in @cayla.weber ‘s classroom! The year cards are updated every year.

Calm Colors Birthday Display

It can get tricky to remember all of your students’ birthdays! Use a birthday display to help you remember and create a place where students feel celebrated 🙂

This image shows

Kinder teacher, Randi @learningwithmssmith, set up the birthday display on a bulletin board. This creates a place in the classroom where students know they can go to check up on all things birthdays!

Calm Colors Hand Signal Posters and Voice Level Posters

Hand Signal posters are an incredible classroom management tool. They help you limit distractions and know exactly why students are raising their hands.

The displays are simple, clean, and easy to set up!

Bulletin Boards: Already Created and Customizable

Can you ever have enough bulletin boards in your classroom??

Another key element to consider when you are looking for decor classroom ideas is if decor bundles come with editable bulletin boards.

Curious about more of the specifics this bundle includes? I go into lots of detail in my Modern Calm Colors classroom theme blog post here! And, there are even MORE pictures to look at!

Check out the different bulletin board displays these teachers created!

Calm Colors Classroom Jobs Display

Finding a good place to display your list of classroom jobs can be tricky. @_maddyteaches and @learningwithmssmith found a great bulletin board off to the side of their classrooms to keep this information handy, and out of the way.

There are two different versions of this display included in my Modern Calm Colors bundle. One version uses a primary font and includes pictures for each job! The other version uses a fun font and does not include pictures.

Calm Colors Word Wall

This image shows a word wall on a bulletin board, with classroom shape posters above it in calming colors.

@Colbyshae_ has found a great spot for the classroom word wall display.

She is also using the shape posters and found stools that blend with the color palette perfectly!!!

Calm Colors Voice Level Posters

These voice level posters with pictures are set up in @craftingintheclassroom room! However, there is another version included with a fun font and without visuals for upper elementary students.

Customized Bulletin Boards

These teachers have found creative ways to create bulletin boards displaying student work.

The “Student Center” heading has been created with the editable banners included in the bundle.

Also, I LOVE the wonderful touch of using the inspirational posters at the bottom that helps tie everything together!
