Valentina’s Simply Neutral Classroom

Valentina has truly transformed her space with the simply neutral classroom theme.

This image shows a picture of a classroom decorated in the simply neutrals classroom theme. You can see a growth mindset bulletin board, a classroom library, a classroom jobs display, organizational cubes holding more books and pillows, and a rug.

The neutral colors help create a soft, cozy vibe!

Especially when paired with wooden elements and other pops of neutral colors.

This image shows a picture of classroom decor ideas for the simply neutrals classroom theme. You can see desks arranged in groups of four, a rainbow fabric poster hanging in the back of the classroom, and different resources posted around the walls of the classroom.

Let’s dig into some specific resources Valentina has used in her classroom.

Do you notice those skip counting numbers on her tall cabinets in the back corner? That is a GREAT spot to keep them accessible, yet out of the way.

Classroom Jobs and Birthdays Display

I love how Valentina used the classroom jobs and birthday displays included in the bundle, and paired it with wood bulletin board paper and polka dot borders!

The displays are functional, easy to reference, and add some beautiful decor!

This image shows two different displays in a classroom. The first is a calendar display with the month and date cards shown. The other display has classroom rules posted and voice levels displayed. Next to each voice level is a light.

This display is very similar. The calendar has been attached to the background paper and can be easily swapped out each month with velcro dots.

Valentina uses touch lights to give students an easy reminder of what the voice level should be. How fun!

Organizational Pieces

Valentina has taken many resources included in this bundle to keep her space organized.

She’s using labels to help students know which bin to turn papers into.

The teacher toolbox labels are helping her keep her teacher desk tidy.

Finally, Valentina is using some editable labels to keep the buckets in her classroom library organized.

Other Final Touches

This image shows an area in a classroom next to the door. You can see the birthday and classroom jobs displays next to the door. On the back of the door are circle hand signal posters with requests like "Pencil" and "Bathroom".

I LOVE the hand signals on the back of her classroom door.

This helps students know exactly how to ask for what they need, without interrupting a lesson!

This image shows a growth mindset bulletin board, affirmation statements along the top of the room, and inspirational posters in frames. Beneath the wall displays and decorations are cube organizers filled with books and pillows.

Between the inspirational posters in frames and the extra pillows she found, this classroom is simply adorable. ♥️

Zoe’s Classroom

Meet Zoe, another teacher who is using the Simply Neutral classroom theme in her own classroom!

Her space is FILLED with classroom decor ideas!

This image shows a young female teacher standing in front of several bulletin boards holding a sign that reads "Welcome to 4th grade"

The amazing “bulletin boards” behind Zoe are perfect! They really help the different resources she has created for her students stand out.

Students can easily find the skip counting numbers, place value posters and more in her classroom!

This image shows a close-up of an alphabet line going along the top of the classroom walls. The posters are cut-out circles with colorful backgrounds on top of a black background. You can also see a flip calendar on the whiteboard beneath the alphabet posters. Under the flip calendar are schedule cards showing the subjects and time for each.

Okay, the way Zoe has created this alphabet is AMAZING!!!!

Cutting out each alphabet poster and placing them over a black background helps the letters really stand out.

Then, surrounding it all with some border helps make it look complete. 😍

This image shows a welcome area in a classroom. There is a 24 slot mailbox sitting on a table with the word "Welcome" above it. There are also voice level posters and inspirational posters displayed above the mailbox.

What a beautiful display to see each day when you walk into Zoe’s classroom.

The inspirational posters are right by the mailboxes so encouragement is always nearby.

Megan’s Classroom

Our third tour for classroom decor ideas will come from Megan’s room (@molding_little_minds_).

This image shows different classroom decor ideas from a teacher. This is the front of a classroom with alphabet posters, objectives display, the words "Have the best day" and more.

The alphabet posters along the top of the classroom help pull everything together.

Plus, it gives the entire classroom a nice, gentle pop of neutral colors.

Cozy Corners

Megan has used many resources in this bundle to create some cozy corners for her and her students!

This image shows a reading nook in a classroom. There are bookshelves filled with books, light letters spelling out the word "Read", a basket of stuffed animals, and some cozy places to sit.

First of all, this reading corner is SO fun!

The inspirational posters above have been framed to give them a fresh, finished look.

Also, adding some black and white elements helps add to the classroom decor without taking away from the colors.

This image shows a teacher's desk part of a classroom. There are many math-related resources displayed including skip counting numbers, a number line, 120 chart, and 10 frames. You can also see a 10-drawer cart and teacher toolbox off to the side of the small group table.

I LOVE her aesthetic teacher’s corner.

You can spot LOTS of organizational items (teacher toolbox and ten drawer cart).

This corner has everything she needs to run small groups and keep her things organized throughout the day.

Resource Displays

This image shows a close-up of a resource area in a classroom. There are skip counting numbers, a number line, a calendar display, visual schedule cards, and more.

This spot in her classroom is PACKED with resources.

Students can easily find the date, daily schedule, skip counting numbers, number line, and MORE!

Everything blends together perfectly and the dark background below helps the resources really pop!

This image shows classroom decor ideas for the simply neutral bundle. These resources are posted on the doors of stand up cabinets in a classroom. There is a mirror with affirmations posted around the edge. Classroom rules posters are off to the side. The classroom jobs are posted where students can see them and you can see a how we go home display as well with student names next to the different options.

This is another area in Megan’s classroom she has created with her students in mind.

They can easily review the classroom rules, see what their current job is, and let her know how they will get home that day.

Also, they can pop over to the mirror for some affirmation time to be reminded of who they are. ♥️

This image shows a close-up of alphabet posters in a primary font with pictures for each word (and sound). Underneath is a bulletin board displaying the objectives for each subject.

This final display helps students easily see which objectives are being covered in each subject.

Megan has used these resources to create a classroom where students are given the resources they need to succeed.

And, she’s artfully brought in those pops of color without losing the cozy vibe.

Miss Gilbert’s Classroom

Our final bit of inspiration comes from Miss Gilbert’s room.

This image shows the front of a classroom filled with classroom decor ideas where you can see a smart monitor, colorful rug, cozy chair, alphabet posters, growth mindset display, and more!

First of all, THIS RUG! It is the PERFECT match to bring out the neutral colors in this classroom theme and add another pop of color.

Everything blends so nicely together. The alphabet posters up top, the calendar in the pocket chart off to the side, the number line at the bottom, everything!

I love how Miss Gilbert has thought through the resources she wants her students to be able to access easily every day. They live at the front of her classroom to serve that purpose.

This image shows a visual schedule display showing the subject and time for each subject. Some of the subjects read "Morning routines", "snack", and "chapel".

This daily schedule helps keep Miss Gilbert and her students on top of their day.

She can easily reference the schedule or ask students to look at the schedule when they ask when lunch will be. 😂

This image shows a How we go home chart where students place a clothespin with their name on it on a different option to show how they will go home. Many clothespins are attached to "Parent Pickup" and "After school program".

I love SO many things in this picture!

First of all, that adorable mailbox. 🥰

Second, clothespins to stay on top of how students will be traveling home each day.

Finally, using the back of the door to display morning greeting choices keeps them where you need them as students enter each day.

This image shows part of a whiteboard from a classroom. You can see hand signal posters above the whiteboard. There are small circles around the clock with minute amounts posted on them. On the whiteboard you can see a flip calendar and a heading reading "weekly focus" with pages for each subject beneath.

This bulletin board is a wealth of information for students.

They can easily reference the date via the flip calendar.

Along the top of the whiteboard are hand signal posters so they can remember how to ask for a drink or a tissue.

Weekly objectives or learning targets can be displayed for each subject and easily changed.

Finally, the circles around the clock help students remember what the “7” means in terms of minutes.

Miss Gilbert has brought SO many elements of the Simply Neutral decor bundle into her classroom in such fun ways!
